Well, this was almost requested. I know this going to be big for some, but it is a nice tutorial for doing quick and easy fire in Photoshop. You can see my previous deviation (Azynriel - Dark Knight) for the original flames. And to be honest, the flames in that deviation took me no longer than 10 minutes! So if you are absolutely lazy like I am and really want to do flames, this just might be for you!
Enjoy!
PS: If the font is too big for you, I apologize! I run my computer at a high resolution so I make the font big enough so I can read it! XD
hehe, im having trouble picking the colors xD i got the fire right.... i think, making the clouds didnt rlly go well tho <.<' but the tutorial is great

you all go and watch death note, or i'll write your names in mine...
Ah, you can pick pretty much any color and this would work! Blue fire, eh? The clouds aren't necessary, but yeah that wasn't something I'd recommend doing with a mouse. :/ I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial though!
eeh ya i want orange/red like flames of course xD..but im colorblind for red n green -.-' so nvm that. i did the clouds anyway tho result looks pretty..... f*cked up i would say ^-^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.
Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
